Obituary

Roylene "Dee" Miller, 81, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Born on April 16, 1943, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to Travis and Quata Bundick, Dee led a life filled with adventure, laughter, and kindness. Known for her radiant smile and generous spirit, she enriched the lives of everyone around her.

Dee embraced life with a sense of fun and adventure, qualities that shaped both her family and her career. As a dedicated truck driver, she found joy in the open road and in making each journey memorable for those who traveled with her. Her grandson David recalls how she drove a diesel truck an hour off-route so he could experience Disneyland, racing alongside him from ride to ride without ever slowing down. Her son Tom fondly remembers the year they spent driving together, creating unforgettable memories on the road. Their adventures took them to Niagara Falls, Disney, and countless other destinations, where they shared moments that would stay with him forever.

Throughout her life, Dee's humor and resilience made her a source of strength for her family. During a trip to South Padre Island with her young children, a sudden mishap turned her fold-up bed into a moment of laughter that echoed for years. Dee's daughter Sharon remembers how the family giggled late into the night after helping her out of the collapsed bed. Moments like these were common with Dee, who never missed a chance to turn ordinary situations into unforgettable memories.

Dee was the kind of mother and grandmother who showed up for life's biggest milestones and smallest moments alike. Her daughter Kim remembers Dee's quick thinking during a gear-locked drive that resulted in a hasty—and amusing—trip to the hospital just in time for the birth of Kim's first child. Whether offering a comforting presence at the birth of each grandchild or ensuring her loved ones were well-fed with nachos at the corner store where she worked, Dee showed her family unconditional love and support.

Dee's love extended to her grandchildren, whom she entertained with truck-stop game rooms, countless Law & Order marathons, and the occasional innocent mishap that brought everyone to laughter. Known as "Grandma Dee" to her grandchildren, Dee was a spirited companion who made every visit special, teaching her family how to find joy and resilience in any situation. "Grandma Dee" will always be remembered by her "World Famous Cheeseburgers".

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, A.J. Miller; parents, Travis and Quata Bundick; great-granddaughter, Reagan Christians.

She is survived by her four children, Sharon Clark (Jackie) of Bella Vista, AR, Tom O'Neal (Debbie) of Rogers, AR, Kim Reynolds (Robert) of Buffalo, MO, and Denise Lee (Don) of Carterville, MO; twelve grandchildren: David Richardson (Whitney), Melissa Banzhaf (Derrick), Courtney Clark (Jonathan), Rodney O'Neal, Cassie O'Neal, Jennifer Dean, Allen Christians (Iman), Kevin Christians (Jennifer), Kristopher Christians, Matthew Christians (Megan), Cory Alexander, Jamie Wesley (Andre), and Katie Schmitt; twenty nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
