Sandra “Sandy” Finnegan, 76, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born July 7, 1949, in Yakima, Washington, to the late Noel and Alma Ruth King Bogle. Sandy was a loving mother and grandmother who made her living in home health care, caring for individuals with developmental disabilities. She was passionate about showing compassion in both her work and daily life. Sandy adored her pets and enjoyed gardening, reading, history, coffee, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and many lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Finnegan, and two sons, Kevin Jones and Kelly Finnegan.

She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Finnegan and Jennifer Finnegan both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; son, Kerry Jones of Fayetteville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Hart of Hutchinson, Kansas, Vanessa Crittenden of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Gabrielle Jones of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lawrence Martin of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ashley Finnegan of Noel, Missouri, Trenton Finnegan of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Imalikai Oliver Finnegan Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family members and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
