Sharla Kim Collins, age 57 of Rogers, passed away August 31, 2015. Sharla was born December 27, 1957 to parents Leonard and Linda Heimel. She was united in marriage to John Collins on July 17, 1977 in Joshua, Texas. They enjoyed over 38 years of marriage. Sharla enjoyed spending time with her family as well as fishing and animals. She spent many years also as a dog breeder. Sharla was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Heimel. She is survived by her husband, John of the home; sons, Chris Collins of Kansas City, Missouri and Casey Collins of Fayetteville; mother, Linda Heimel of Gentry and brothers, Terry and David Heimel. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut, Rogers.
