Mrs. Sharon D. Igou, age 80 of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, June 20th, 2017. Sharon was born to Dorcie Bearbower and Martha Fowlkes Bearbower July 21st, 1936 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and educator. Sharon proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy and then continued to serve people with her charitable nature. Mrs. Igou had a lifelong passion for reading and loved to share her wealth of knowledge with others. She earned a Master's Degree in education and later became a School Administrator, retiring in 1994. Mrs. Igou was preceded in death by her parents, Dorcie and Martha Bearbower, and the love of her life, Frank Igou. She is survived by her son, Brad Igou and wife Christi of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister, Stacy Lancaster of Hampton, Arkansas; one brother, D. Wayne Bearbower and wife Janice of Anderson, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved niece Dawn Malley and husband Bob of Bentonville, Arkansas. Sharon's Memorial Service will be held at Mildred B. Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista from 1:00 to 3:00 Pm Friday June 30th, with refreshments and visiting time at Brad and Christi's home.
