Shawna Michelle Brady, 38 year-old resident of Little Flock, Ark., passed away on Feb. 29, 2016. Shawna was born in Oklahoma City on June 15, 1977 to Michael and Shirley Brady. Shawna has several siblings and comes from a blended family. Shawna herself created a blended family with her life partner, Robert Downs, who shared the love of five children: Rachael Ann Downs age 3, Emilee Mann age 10, Zianne Mann age 14, John Downs age 17, and McKenna Downs 16 years old who also passed on Feb 29. Shawna had a passion for photography and an artistic view on life that she displayed in family portraits, helping others create memories. Shawna worked as computer specialist for Wal-mart Home Office in Bentonville, Ark. for the past year, which she enjoyed very much. She has been employed as a reporter for the Grove Sun newspaper to which she said was challenging and fulfilling work. Shawna had a unique passion for life. She was often compelled to help others, even in her own time of need. It has been repeated from friends and family since her passing that she always had an ear to listen, and offered advice in times of crisis. She has been described by many has a "goofy ray of sunshine" who touched so many lives. Shawna is preceded in death by her mother Shirley and stepfather Bob Curtis. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on March 12 at the Bentonville Memorial Park Chapel located at 3800 West Walnut, Rogers, Ark.
