Shirley Furgerson Jordan went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012. She passed away peacefully at her home in Centerton. She was 73. She leaves behind one brother, Frieland Furgerson Jr. and his wife, Pauline, of Atkins; one sister, Connie Bernice Bryant of Knoxville; one son, three daughters and their spouses, Bruce and Shelly Stanley of Atkins, Tammy and Jim Lindsey of Russellville, Penny and Thomas G. Bolton of Athol, N.Y., Connie and Tony Vanni of Centerton. In addition to her children she also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a cousin. In addition, Shirley is survived by her beloved Chihuahua and faithful companion Angel. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Radiant Life Church, 915 West Central Ave, Bentonville. Shirley was a member of Radiant Life Church and we encourage all of her family and friends to attend the regular Sunday morning service at 10:30 a.m. in honor of her memory.
