Shirley Ann (Vines) Holdiman, age 72 of Harrison, Ar. passed away August 12, 2010. Shirley was born February 7, 1938 in Cobden, Illinois to parents Roy Edward Vines and Evelyn (Stroud) Vines. She grew up in Illinois, settling in the Gurnee, Illinois area, where she worked in the legal department at Abbott Laboratories. In 1996, Shirley moved to Harrison, Ar. with her husband, Al, where they settled for the next 14 years. She was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church of Harrison and was known for her quilting. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Albert Holdiman. She is survived by her son, Thomas Cliff and wife Cathy of Joliet, Illinois; daughter, Cheryl (Cliff) Flood and husband Mike Flood of Island Lake, Illinois; step children, Jeannine Finton of Baltimore, Md. and Mark Holdiman and Tom Murray of Orlando, Fl.; sisters, Sue Smith and husband Larry of Conway, Arkansas and Claudette Battisfore and husband Jim of Waukegan, Illinois; grandchildren, Eric Flood and Charlotte Flood, both of Island Lake, Illinois and Lynae Cliff of Joliet, Illinois and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 2 p.m. at the Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Harrison, Arkansas.
