Skyler Dahne Shawn Turner was born Feb. 6, 1996, and died Aug. 28, 2012, and is now in Heaven. Services will be at noon Friday at Fellowship Bible Church NWA on Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers. Flowers may be sent to the church. Survivors include his parents, Gray Turner and Nicole Shawn; brother, Logan Shawn; sister, Brittany Mills; grandparents, David and Donna Reed, David Shawn and Martha Turner Fendley; great-grandparent (maternal), Wenonah Meyer; paternal uncles and aunts, Scott and Jayne Turner, Jeff and Jana Turner and Rob and Becky Turner; maternal uncles and aunts, Kirk Shawn, Jamille Shawn and Christian Reed; many great-uncles, -aunts and cousins. Sky was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Claude Turner; and maternal great-grandparents, Julian Pierce and William and Geraldine Shawn. He was a member of Cross Church, Springdale, and had a strong love for Christ. His favorite Bible verse was Psalm 31:3, "My rock, my fortress, lead and guide me." He was known for his smile, heart and spirit. Sky is loved by his family and everyone that he touched. He was passionate about his friends and accepting of everyone. He was spontaneous and had an inspiring and contagious energy. He was handsome with a big personality and loved to laugh and joke. He loved nature and loved many outdoor activities, such as hiking and hunting. Sky was athletic in basketball, football and baseball. He was creative, artistic and passionate about music. He was musically talented with a passion to share the stage with his brother, Logan, his best friend. They went through life together with an unbreakable bond.
