Stan Poncelet, age 76, a resident of Nixa, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Stan was born in Independence, Missouri on May 1, 1935 to Archie and Stella (Norris) Poncelet. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nixa. Stan enjoyed reading about religion and tinkering with things and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph Poncelet; Stan is survived by his wife Elaine Poncelet of the home in Nixa, Missouri; one son, Stanley Hartman and wife Akia of Virginia; one daughter, Carlo Jo Smalley and husband John of Hutchinson, Kansas; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Nixa Seventh-day Adventist Church (957 S. Canyon Lane) in Nixa, Missouri.
