Stephen Joe McGinnis, age 54, a resident of Springdale was born on November 5, 1957 in Coffeeville, Kansas to Jack McGinnis and Betty (Keys) McGinnis and passed from this life to his eternal home on April 28, 2012. He moved to the Gravette-Hiwasse area when he was six years old and has lived in Arkansas most of his life. Preceded in death by his mother in 1994; Stephen is survived by one brother, David McGinnis of Fayetteville; one sister, Carmen Moore of Hiwasse; his Aunt, Bertie Henson of Rogers; his aunt Bobby Hosier and Uncle Joe of Bentonville; his Uncle Wayne Keys and Aunt Jackie of Fairview, MO; one niece; two nephews; and many friends including; Richard Hudson of Springdale; sister Varonica George of Kansas City, MO; a very special cousin Vickie Self who was his care giver the final days of his life. A private memorial service is planned at a later date.
