Steven Edward Shepherd, age 48 of Rogers, passed away November 19, 2012. Steven was born August 25, 1964 in Richmond, California to parents Joseph David Shepherd and Dorothy Shepherd Scarberry. He was known for his love of the environment and work in animal preservation. Steven was preceded in death by his father; brother, Michael Shepherd and sister Karen Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; mother, Dorothy Scarberry and step father, Gene of Coal Hill, Arkansas; sons, Joshua Shepherd, Jeffrey Shepherd and Jacob Shepherd, all of Rogers; daughter, Brittney Blevins and husband Sam of Bentonville; grandchild, Zayne Blevins of Bentonville; niece, Karena Kirkpatrick of Coal Hill and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Services are set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the NW Arkansas Church of Christ in Springdale. A walk down memory lane will begin at 10:30 and a family reception will follow the service at the home of Nolan Martin. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
