Sue Ann Wharff, age 71 of Compton, passed away March 19, 2017. Sue was born on July 1, 1945 in Long Beach, California to parents Jim Wallingford and Euffami Saylor Wallingford. She was united in marriage to Charles Richard Wharff Jr. and they enjoyed more than 52 years of marriage. Sue was a former resident of Southern California and retired to the Compton area around 2007. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping at Wal Mart. Sue was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Charles Richard Wharff Jr.; children, Alana Miller and husband Thomas, Alan Wharff and Steven Wharff and wife Judy; five grandchildren, Tiffany Odom, Felicia Lowe, Chelsea Johansen, Dakota Wharff, Brendon Wharff; four great grandchildren, Brooklyn Odom, Ezekiel Lowe, Junior Odom, Colter Johansen and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
