Surjit Kaur Brar, born on October 8, 1938, in India, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, in Bentonville, Arkansas. Surjit’s life was marked by remarkable dedication, resilience, and a deep commitment to her family.

A woman of exceptional strength, Surjit was widely recognized as a hardworking and devoted housewife. Her unwavering work ethic persisted throughout her life, inspiring all who knew her. She took great pride in creating a warm and nurturing home environment, always placing her family at the heart of all she did. In 2017, Surjit moved from India to Arkansas to be closer to her family. She enjoyed knitting and gardening in her spare time.

Surjit is survived by her four children, grandchildren, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jarnail Brar, whose memory she cherished deeply.

A prayer service will be held at Benton County Memorial Park, located at 3800 W Walnut St, Rogers, AR 72756, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM. A cremation ceremony will follow at the same location at 10:30 a.m.
