Thomas "Gerald" Walsh, 87, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home. He was born December 11, 1935 in Merkel, Texas to the late Winfred "Pete" and Nina Vantreese Walsh. Gerald married his love Sandra Sue Adams in June of 1958. They made Rogers their home to raise three children. Gerald and Sandra were married for sixty years before she passed away in September of 2018. He was a member of Downtown Church of Christ of Rogers, where he served as a Deacon for ten years and an Elder for forty years.   He also taught Bible Class of all ages for 45 years.  Gerald served in the Army National Guard for 9 years.  He worked in Retail most of his life a large part for Wilson's Merchandise in Springdale and Walsh's Department Store in Rogers.  In his later years he was owner of Clover Leaf Lawn Care.  He enjoyed yard work and cheering on the Rogers Mounties and Hogs. Church and family were first in his life and he had a deep abiding love for his God. In addition to his parents, Gerald is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Walsh; sister, Dorice Shores; brother, Bud Walsh and his wife Ginger.

Gerald is survived by two sons; Gerald "GW" Walsh and his wife, Pam, Bob Walsh; daughter, Linda Holtgrewe and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Sydney Burcham and husband Landon, Kaitlyn Hicks and Husband John, Wyatt Holtgrewe, Hayden Holtgrewe; Brother, Bill Walsh and his wife Kathy; Brother in-law, Eddie Shores, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Family will be receiving guest from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023, memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Downtown Church of Christ, 201 West Chestnut Street, Rogers, Arkansas 72756. Cremation arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home (479) 636-2412.
