Velma Jane Harp, age 81, of Bentonville passed away Nov. 17, 2012. Velma was born May 28, 1931, in Rogers, Ark., to parents William and Eula Mae Robinson. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County and enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and quilting. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, Kenneth Duane Harp; and brothers, Kenneth Robinson and Jackie Oxford. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Litchfield and husband, Bud, of Bentonville; stepsons, David Harp and wife, Kaye, and Dale Harp of Huntsville; grandson, Michael Taylor of Bentonville; and two brothers and one sister. Memorial services are scheduled from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at the Circle of Life Hospice Chapel in Springdale, Ark. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home and Crematory, Rogers, Ark. Memorial 2:00 PM Sunday, November 25th, 2012
