Vera H. Feltis, 87, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1937, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, to the late Theodore and Mona Grover Hartwig.

On September 17, 1955, Vera married Elery L. Feltis in Wausau, Wisconsin. Together, they built a life full of love and unforgettable memories, raising a family and sharing in life's journey.

Vera was an artist at heart and found great joy in crafting—whether through knitting, sewing, or creating and designing porcelain dolls. Her love for video games, especially Super Mario Bros., brought out her playful spirit. Vera's talents in the kitchen were unmatched, and her family cherished her homemade breads, especially her famous fried bread dough. She also had a passion for birds, including her beloved cockatoos and parrots, Peaches and E.T.

In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elery L. Feltis; and two daughters, Connie Graminske and Paula Fay Feltis.

She is survived by three children, Louis Feltis of Springdale, Arkansas; Leslie Feltis of Rogers, Arkansas, Pamala Rust and her husband, Darryl, of Rogers, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Vera's life will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers, Arkansas, with Pastor Galen Pearcy officiating.
