Verma "Darlene" Test, 93, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025 at her home. She was born June 16, 1932, in Copeland, Arkansas to the late Thomas A. and Vernest Rich Jones. As a young woman, Darlene worked at The National Security Agency in Washington D.C. She then became a destination specialist with Worldwide Travel in Rogers, Arkansas and Fayetteville, Arkansas. These careers took her around the world to many countries. Her mother said that she was born with tail feathers. She was an avid reader. Her books led her to the many places to which she traveled. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Test; a grandson, Brent Test and a brother, Bernard Jones.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Brandi Test; a great granddaughter, Shaun Test; a sister, Bernadine Jones and a cousin, Royce Jones; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Springdale First Assembly of God Church, 1605 West Robinson Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72764. Internment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs across from John Brown University. The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. This was her favorite charity which she supported faithfully.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
