Walter Ray Henson, 80, of Winslow, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Fayetteville. Ray Henson was born March 5, 1936 to Walter Clay and Kizzie Pense Henson. He lived in and around Winslow all his life. He was a farmer and loved his work. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Christison Henson, one son, Adean Henson and his wife Carla, daughter, Tabetha and her husband Rodney Slaton, grandsons, Blake Henson, Ryan Slaton, Renee Coker, and Cheri and her husband Phill Davis, two brothers, Hoyt Henson and Wallace Henson and wife May June Henson, sisters Dora Ruth McDonner and Carol Chapel, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, at 10am at Sunset Cemetery.
