Walter Earl Wykes, 70, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Bentonville. He was born on January 25, 1953, in Bryan, Texas, to the late Stanley and Hettie Holmes Wykes. Walter's heart belonged to the open road, where he held a deep passion for motorcycles. He was a proud member of the Duddley's Draw Bike Club in College Station, Texas. Beyond his two-wheeled adventures, Walter also found joy in various hobbies, including a fascination with astronomy, a keen eye for photography, and an appreciation for craft beers. Those closest to him cherished his quick wit, outgoing spirit, and remarkable ability to keep life relaxed and enjoyable.

Walter is survived by daughter, Dara, and husband, Eddie Murphy; grandchildren, Chris Connolly, Austin Connolly, Ryan Lowery, and Emma McCreary; great-granddaughter, Madeline Elsberry.
