Wayne Morris Reese, age 83 of Rogers, passed away September 11, 2014. Wayne was born August 26, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Morris and Margaret Reese. He worked for many years in real estate and was a talented musician. Wayne was united in marriage to Maureen Lawson in 1997 and they enjoyed over 17 years together. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers and enjoyed spending time with his family, photography and airplanes. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cindy Reese Curtis and one sister, Sally Bayless. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Reese of the home; son, Randy Reese of Tulsa; five step-children; two brothers, Lewis Reese and Richard Reese and wife Susan; sister, Jo Anne Hubbard; grandson, Sean Curtis; granddaughter, Amy Hornecker and husband Jesse of Topeka; five step grandchildren; great grandson, Jeffrey Hornecker; seven step great grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews, realtives and friends. Memorial Services are set for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will take place at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
