William Edward Box, 84, of Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama, died June 23, 2010 at Ashley Health & Rehabilitation in Rogers. He was born April 22, 1926, to Elbert Munsey and Nora Cosper Box in Collinsville, Alabama. Bill was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Navy; he graduated from the University of Alabama in accounting and later became a Certified Public Accountant in Birmingham. Later he worked for Mutual Life Benefit as an insurance agent who many times qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table. Bill is survived by his wife and best friend, Bonnie Barkley Box; two daughters, Dixie Culp and Bow Walker; three grandchildren, Bart Culp, Andy Walker and Greig Walker; 6 great grandchildren, James Culp, Casey Culp, David Stine, Jordan Culp, Bradley Walker, and Andrew Walker; and one great- great grandson, Jaymes Culp. Visitation will be 10-12 A.M. on Monday, June 28, with funeral services to follow in the Chapel at Collinsville Funeral Home, Collinsville, Alabama; burial will be in the Collinsville Cemetery.
