William Orphia Cogdill, age 90 of Rogers, passed away on October 11, 2022. William was born in East Prairie, Missouri on December 2, 1931 to parents Orphia William Cogdill and Ethel Mae Goodman Cogdill. William met his wife, Glenda Faye Cogdill and they spent many wonderful years together. He always enjoyed music and playing guitar. William served a career in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the VFW Post of Doniphan, Missouri. His family and friends will dearly miss him. William was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; parents; one brother, RV Cogdill and two sisters, Cara Hunsperger and Evelyne Gregory. He is survived by his children, Connie Fields of Rogers, William Alden Cogdill of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kathy Tobey and husband Jerry of Rogers, Kennith Cogdill and wife Tracy of Rogers, William Lee Cogdill and wife Mary of Elkins; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside Services with full military honors are scheduled for 9:30 A.M. Friday, October 21st, 2022 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the VFW Post 3031 at 1:00 P.M. located at 11160 Old Wire Road in Rogers, following the Graveside Service. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.
