William Don Fowler, 68, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on November 17, 1948. Bill was a Vietnam Hero with many years of service for his country, a decorated policeman, a caring husband, a loving dad and a super awesome Papa. His hobbies were caring for animals, traveling and he loved history. He was in Civil War reenacting taking him across the country. He and his wife, Nancy, were also cast in the movie Gettysburg in 1993. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Nancy Fowler, of the home. Also, one daughter, Cristal Varner of Rogers, one son, Thomas Fowler of Rogers and four grandkids, Emily Varner, Zak Varner, Amanda Varner and Izaiah Varner of Rogers. Bill was an awesome presence and loved by all. We will miss you Papa. Services will be held at Circle of Life in Bentonville, AR on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rogers Humane Society in Rogers, Arkansas.
