IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Owen
Hall
July 26, 1961 – October 13, 2023
William Owen Hall, 62, passed away suddenly on October 13, 2023.
Born on the island of Kaua'i, Hawai'i he was a member of a beloved 4th generation "Kama'aina" family.
Owen's early childhood was spent in Honolulu, Oahu where he enjoyed time at the beach with his family, riding self-built mountain bikes, surfing, and skateboarding.
Owen attended Hanahau'oli school in Honolulu, then Lahainaluna in Lahaina, Maui for his freshman year of high school. He left home his sophomore year of high school to begin boarding at Hawai'i Preparatory Academy on the big island of Hawai'i, where he excelled in soccer, football, and track.
Owen attended and graduated from the University of Oregon business school. While there, Owen met the love of his life Chris Olson. Owen and Chris recently celebrated 35 years of marriage in October. They had two sons, Kevin Matthew Hall and Jeffrey Thomas Hall.
Owen's exceptional work ethic moved him up the corporate ladder in sales, and earned him numerous awards, award trips and accolades. He was highly regarded as a leader and mentor among his peers and friends alike. His sales career moved the family progressively to San Diego, California, Columbus, Ohio, Orange County, California, and Northwest Arkansas.
Always a loveable guy, he was passionate about God, his family and life. In his spare time, Owen enjoyed mountain biking, watching football and baseball with his sons, and enjoying IPAs with friends and family.
Owen's heart was always in Hawai'i, and he was making plans to move back to Maui when he retired.
Owen is survived by his wife Chris, sons Kevin and Jeff, daughter-in-law Anna, grandson Maverick, Father William Garvie Hall, siblings Neil, Don, Carolyn Moss, and Colleen Grune. Owen was preceded in death by his mother Janet Louise Williams Cooper.
Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home, (479) 636-2412.
