Obituary

William Raymond Selfridge, 79, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born March 2, 1946, in Galesburg, Illinois, to the late James William Selfridge and Anna (Gray) Selfridge. On November 18, 1972, William was married to Rosemary June Buckley in Tipton, Iowa. He served in The United States Air Force, and he worked as a carpet installer and for Wal-Mart. William was a great athlete in high school. In his later years, he loved playing golf. He also enjoyed dining out at area restaurants. He was a proud husband, father, step-father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William "Willie" James Selfridge; his sister, Maryann Selfridge; his sister-in-law, Doris Trosper and his brother-in-law, John Moyer.

William is survived by his wife, Rosemary of Branson; step-sons: Tony Martin and Joe Martin both of Branson; brother, James (Carolyn) Selfridge of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and grandsons: Jake Martin of Vancouver, Washington and John Martin of Branson.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
