Wynona Anderson, age 91 of Bella Vista, passed away January 11, 2014 in Bentonville. Wynona was born March 20, 1922 in Brigsville, Arkansas to parents Arthur R. Austin and Amanda Chambers Austin. She taught for many years in the Los Angeles public schools. Upon retirement she moved to Northwest Arkansas and continued to teach at NWACC. She was known by many for her course in citizenship. Wynona was also a volunteer at the Peel House. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Anderson and eight brothers and sisters. Wynona is survived by her sons, Lowell T. Anderson and wife Donna of Godeffroy, New York and Greg Anderson of Pasadena, California; daughter, Elaine Anderson of Prescott, Arizona and two grandchildren, Keith Anderson and Karin Anderson. Memorial services are set for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista.
