Douglas (Doug) John Weber, age 71, passed away at home on December 19, 2021 in Rogers, Arkansas. Doug was born on March 5, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska to John and Emma Baumfalk Weber. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Eleanor Weber Severir; stepdaughter Mandy Young Bucher and great-grandson Mack Coleman.
Doug graduated from Southeast High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was in the Air Guard for six years. He was a builder and built his first home at age 17. Doug was in construction for the remainder of his career and was the business owner of DJ Weber Construction. During his career, he invented two concrete tools and held patents on both. Doug moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in the early 1990’s. He met his wife Donna and they were married for 28 years. They are the business owners of B&D Storage in Rogers, Arkansas. Doug had a passion for playing black jack and he and his wife went on several trips to Las Vegas and Downstream Casino. Doug was also an avid golfer and once played golf with the famous golfer John Daly.
Doug is survived by his sisters Phyllis (P.J.) Boerrigter of Bentonville, Arkansas and Elaine Birt of San Tan Valley, Arizona; wife Donna Drain Weber and daughter April Clarke and husband Fred of Billings, Missouri; Grandchildren Emmie Coleman and T.J. Bucher of Rogers, Arkansas; Leo Clarke of Billings, Missouri and great-grandchildren Nora Jade and Sunny Coleman of Rogers, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, at 2pm at Refuge Church, 4300 NE Hudson Rd, Rogers, AR 72756. A reception at the church will follow.
