Mrs. Gladys Greene

Gladys Marie Greene, of Arkansas, passed away at age 74 on January 15th, 2023. Marie was preceded in death by her parents – James and Gladys, and siblings – Jimmy, Charles, Annetta, John, and Margaret. She is survived by her brother, Richard Joseph Rexroat, along with nieces and nephews - Pam, Kevin, Karl, Lynnette, Karen, Scott, Heather, and Shayla.

She was born in Mexico, Missouri on June 18th, 1948, to James Edward Rexroat and Gladys Marie Brock. She graduated from Centralia High School and furthered her education at the University of Missouri, graduating in 1970, with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

She had a successful career at Kraft Heinz, Siemens and CrownZellerbach throughout her life. As an active member at the Methodist Church, she volunteered in the children’s program, served as treasurer, and participated in food drives and programs that focused on helping people and raising funds for those in need. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, doing community service, sports (especially the Chicago Bears), reading, taking care of her cats, and arts and crafts. Throughout her life, she remained devoted to God, family, friends, and those in need.

Marie set high standards of what it means to create loving memories and making a difference in the lives she touched. She will forever be remembered and loved, living on in our hearts and her legacy will continue as we follow her example of making a positive impact in the world.
