Kelly Lowell is the owner of Benton County Memorial Park. He holds Bachelor Degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Oklahoma as well as a BS in Funeral Service from the University of Central Oklahoma. He represents the 4th generation of his family in funeral service and began working in his family’s firm as a teenager. Kelly is a naval veteran and served during the War on Terror as a Funeral Director with the Navy and Marine Corps. His wife Stacie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Funeral Service from the University of Central Oklahoma as well. They have six children. In their spare time they enjoy family activities and fishing in Beaver Lake.
Matt has been a licensed Funeral Director for 16 years, having completed his education at Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas. He worked for A.O. Smith Funeral Home and Brazzel Funeral Homes in South Arkansas where he also served as Deputy Coroner for Lafayette County. He and his family moved to Bentonville to join our staff in January of 2015. Matt had owned and operated a family restaurant as well as a Southern Gospel Quartet where he was very active. He is also working toward a Physician Assistant degree from South College out of Nashville, Tennessee. He is married to Ashlee and has seven children, Skyler, Ty, Adriana, Bentley, Alexis, Adalynn and Braxton. Matt loves the time he spends with them, no matter what activity it involves.
Skyler Russell began working for Benton County Memorial Park August of 2020. Skyler help's in many forms around the funeral home. He currently is working in the role of a Funeral Director's Assistant. Skyler is working toward his apprenticeship for Funeral Directing as well. He is happy to help in any form for your needs.
Mary Grace was born in Fort Rucker, Alabama and grew up in Rogers, Arkansas. She was raised with two older sisters, Clara and Elizabeth, and a younger brother, Seth. She attended the Arkansas Arts Academy and graduated in 2013. Before deciding to join her grandparents and uncle in the family business, she was a preschool teacher. However, she feels blessed to have the opportunity to help families and others in need. During Mary's free time she enjoys cooking and baking, visiting new places, antique hunting. But most of all, Mary Grace is very devoted to her family and loves the times she gets to spend with them.
Ron is a licensed Funeral Director. He has worked in funeral service for the last 49 years in several capacities and is the senior member of our firm. Ada taught elementary school for 33 years and following her retirement she joined her husband in the operation of the company. Their greatest joys surround their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where Ada has taught Seminary. Ron served as member of the High Council and as the First Councilor to the Bishop.
It is with a sad heart that we inform you that Mr. Ron Lowell, passed away in 2021, he will be missed by all. However his leadership style and values are still a very important part of our business and service to the families we serve.
For the past four years, Silas General has been a dedicated employee of Benton County Memorial Park. He loves people and is very pleased to be able to help serve our families making him a valuable asset to our company. He performs many duties at the cemetery from mowing the lawn to assisting our customers. Silas loves to spend time with his family and the outdoors. He adores being able to combine the two things he loves the most.
Marlin Johnston first came to work for us in April of 2014. He brought a lifetime of experience with him, making him a great addition to our cemetery. Having worked in many vocations from customer service to construction, he has become a very valuable asset. Marlin was raised on a farm in Ponhoniss, Iowa with 14 siblings. He moved to Rogers in 1955 where he spends his pastime in the outdoors. He loves camping, hiking, fishing and hunting and enjoys those activities as often as possible.
